What's the investment for a website redesign?

The final cost depends on the size of your site, how much is being redesigned or rebuilt, and the features you need. After an initial consultation and a review of your current site, you’ll receive a detailed, customized proposal.

How long does a redesign take?

Most redesigns take 7-8 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on the size of the site and how quickly content and feedback come together. You’ll get a clear schedule with your proposal.

Will my website go down during the redesign?

No. Your new site is built on a private staging site while your current site stays live. When everything is ready and approved, the new site launches with minimal to no downtime.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Protecting your SEO is part of every redesign. Your important pages and content are carried over, and redirects are set up from old URLs to new ones so search engines and visitors land in the right place.

Can you keep my existing content?

Yes. Your existing content, images, blog posts, and products can be carried over. A redesign is also a great time to refresh content that’s out of date, and Nicole can help you decide what to keep, update, or remove.

Do I need a full redesign, or just a refresh?

Not every site needs to be rebuilt from scratch. Sometimes a design refresh and a few key fixes make a big difference. Nicole will review your current site and recommend the right approach for your goals and budget.

Can you redesign a website someone else built?

Yes. Taking over websites built by other developers or agencies is something Swoon does often. Nicole will review how your site was built, sort out access and logins, and recommend whether to improve it or rebuild it.

Can you move my website to a different platform?

Yes. Swoon redesigns WordPress and Shopify sites and migrates sites from platforms like Wix, Squarespace, WooCommerce, and older custom builds, carrying over your content and protecting your SEO along the way.

Can I update my website myself after the redesign?

Yes. Your new site is built to be easy to manage, and every project includes a training session so you can confidently update your content. If you’d rather hand things off, Nicole is available for updates and changes whenever you need them.

I built my own site with AI or a website builder. Can you help?

Yes, and it’s a very common reason people reach out. Nicole will review what you have, keep what’s working, and rebuild your site on a solid, custom foundation that’s built to grow.

Do you work with agencies and creative teams?

Yes. Swoon partners with agencies, designers, and marketing teams on redesigns, site takeovers, and overflow support, working from designs in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Sketch.
