Discovery
I will start by identifying your key business requirements and the problems you’re trying to solve. I begin by examining the paths you have already taken to address each problem and then develop the best solution. I will look closely at who your customers are, define user profiles, and fully understand the user journey to ensure a comprehensive approach.
Design
Once I fully understand your site requirements and personal preferences, I will begin working on the initial design mock-ups of the core pages and product pages. In this phase, I will take what’s already great about your brand and translate it into a digital interface that’s beautiful, informative, and intuitive.
Development
Once the designs are approved, I will move into the development phase, where I will complete the full development of your new website in a staging environment. During this phase, I will also create or migrate any existing product information and configure all checkout and other essential shop settings. After this is complete, we will review everything together and make any final touches in preparation for launch.
Launch
I will schedule a launch date after a final in-depth quality check of your new site and receiving your final approval. I will complete a set of pre and post-launch checks to confirm your site is fully optimized and all tracking tools are set up. Following the launch, I will schedule a complimentary one-hour tutorial call to review how to make future changes, additions, and edits.

After our initial consultation, I’ll provide a detailed, customized proposal that reflects your unique needs and ensures you get the best value for your investment.

What will you need from me to get started on my ecommerce online store project?
This is dependent on the website being built and will be discussed during our discovery and kick-off calls, but below, I have listed some of the assets I typically will ask for:
- A high-resolution logo file
- Your branding package (if applicable)
- Internal page content
- Product content and images
- Product categories
- Shipping, tax, and discount information
- Your contact email address for forms
- Videos you would like to add to the website
- Login details to your existing website

Can I update my website myself once it’s been built?
Yes! I like to offer the ability for my clients to update the website themselves once it is built. All website builds include a one-hour tutorial so I can show you exactly how you can make future website changes moving forward.
